Their love was genuine and honest. Their side glances and small smiles held secrets. Laughter was found in every crevice. They were without reservation and harbored complete trust. And we meet Nate and Kristy…
The Grand Floridian Resort encompasses all that you could dream of in the Florida of yore. The collosal hotel has every detail pinned, from the chandeliers that dangle in the lobby, to the corners of the porch lattice; you are immersed into this world and you believe. That is one of my favorite aspects of Disney. And it may also be why our adorable couple wanted to incorporate this place into their engagement.
As photographers, we yearn for couples who aren’t afraid to show the world how much they adore one another. This is not as easy of a task as it sounds…especially when onlookers and passerbys oodle and coo over you and your fiancé. As the images show quite clearly, the only two people in Nate and Kristy’s world were each other.
Welcoming all guests at the entrance of the resort are two modes of vintage transportation. A horse drawn carriage and a classic car.
Car wins, hands down.
It just doesn’t get any sexier than this.
Surrounding the Grand Floridian is an expansive waterway system that provides alternative transportation to guests. It also creates spectacular views and brings a sense of serenity to the air. Perched on the edge of the shores is a small restaurant called Narcoossee’s. On a warm evening, not to distant in the past, a walk down to the dock after dinner was in order. A knee was taken, and a promise was said allowed.
In the days to follow, there will be chaos; time will seem to evaporate. Hold fast to your adoration of one another, and remember to pause and reflect on life’s every moments and it will surely see you through.
Thank you once again Nate & Kristy. Your trust, friendship, and support has been so greatly appreciated. We look forward to working with you all in the near future! If you cannot get enough of these two and want to see more, simply head over to Facebook and look through their album!
