Hello Dear Collective. » intimate. bold. eclectic.

planes, trains, and automobiles.

It seems little girls tend to dominate our blog posts as of late, but today we are thrilled to share the play date we had with two handsome brothers, Jake & Luke. Boys interact with you much differently than girls! The need to constantly be moving and doing seems to be built into their genes. Mom and Dad were quite the amazing duo as they seemed to have a magical ability for entertaining the kids while focusing on the cameras.

We met in downtown Baldwin Park where we walked the neighborhood exploring different spots. Jake was running this way and that, asking questions and naming the color of cars as they went by. Luke happily sat on his mother’s hip watching his older brother scurry about.

What are little boys made of?
Frogs and snails and puppy-dogs’ tails,
That’s what little boys are made of.

These two didn’t even know what the other was doing, they both just thought their mom and dad needed to have a tiny hand exploring their face. So inquisitive these brothers!

Gorgeous Family Photograph!

This was such a fun moment to capture. Jake went into such a giggle fit as his dad held him upside down. His laughter captivated the entire family sending genuine smiles to each of their faces.

Towards the end of our session, tired babes met with frustration, and as we pushed to get a final location we were met with defeat. Although this image makes me laugh every time! Little Brother starts to cry, followed by Big Brother. Little brother looks in puzzlement to his Big brother wondering what he’s crying about. Click goes the camera.

Thank you so much Showalters! We cannot tell you how much we enjoyed spending time with you all and getting to know the boys. We sincerely look forward to working with you again. If you would like to see even more images, Like us on Facebook and breeze through the album.
