I was asked to attend the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Ainsworth, not as a photographer, but as a dear friend. Of course, I brought along my really big point-and-shoot [wink, wink]. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. And the bride, never looked so great.
The bride and her flowers.
Once upon a time, brides carried flowers with meanings. Just as roses represent love, other botanicals have meanings, too. The language of flowers, a sometimes-complex way of lovers talking without saying a word was also a way to create symbolic bouquets. [Isabella Gladd]
As everyone turned and watched the bride come in, I made sure to glance at the alter and capture the groom’s face as he gazed at his bride for the very first time that day.
The couple chose to say the traditional vows to each other, a timeless sentiment to what the true meaning of marriage is about.
