We all have humble beginnings, we all grow up somewhere. But there are few of us who chance fate, whose paths cross with the right people, in the right place, at the right time. That is exactly the story of Miss Tahlia. It was a coincidence (if you believe in such things) that little baby Tahlia was out-and-about when a scouting agent saw her and asked her to come in. The dream was put into her reach and she hasn’t stopped working hard for it since.
Of course that doesn’t mean she isn’t your typical, All-American girl! She was super cute, sweet, and had the biggest outgoing spirit. She immediately adapted to the situation at hand and worked two photographers’ cameras without much direction at all, which is very refreshing; she is a professional people!
Although she has been in films, commercials, and ads, the “big break” that all actors look for has yet to land in her lap. But if you ask Tahlia, this is exactly where she wants to be. She loves the auditions where everything aligns perfectly for the part and when they don’t she simply replies, “Your loss” before leaving on a merry note.
Models and actors seek updated headshots every year since they are ever changing over time; it’s vital in their field of business. Young Tahlia is not new to this routine since she’s kept her portfolio and composite cards fresh from the time she turned five. She sought out our help this year in her search to find a new photographer. She’s older and falls into that in-between area where she appeals to a tween demographic as well as the older “more mature” teens. It’s amazing what a little make-up and an outfit change can do to an image!
Of course we had a stagehand and make-up artist at bay, she’s who Tahlia referred to as “mom”. And now that we have mentioned Mom, she definitely needs a shout-out! She was so supportive and loving…in a Roseanne kind of way. If this determined 13-year old’s head ever got too big or if her dreams brought her too close to the clouds, her mom was right there to pull her back down. You have to have those types of roots in order to have the greatest of wings, don’t you agree.
If you are in the need for an expressive and dynamic model/actress, please have the name Tahlia Lexington in the back of your mind. She was super easy to work with, extremely friendly, and easy to adapt, what more could anyone in this industry ask for?
