Graduation has come and gone and the next step for this young gentleman is to get a few headshots. Coupled with his degree he will now be able to face this ever competitive job market. Lets start at the beginning of this very fun photo shoot. We met up at a park on a Saturday morning. Now this was not just a Saturday morning…it was an August Saturday morning, meaning that at 10am the temperature was already peaking past the 90’s. Sweltering. Of course our professional client wasn’t even phased by this.
He wanted a rugged outdoors look. So we found an area with barbed fence, jagged landscapes and hot white sand. All in the Orlando area, who knew?! The feel and look was casual and the expression was very serious. And although this was Giovanni’s first time out at a professional photoshoot, he didn’t miss a beat and seemed at total ease in front of our lenses.
An outfit and location change and we were off to the second half of the day. At this point we were all hoping for a pool to dive into but everyone was disappointed by the lack of submersion into cool watery depths. The grey shirt complemented the scenery well and Giovanni pops from the harsh landscape around him.
We were instructed not to take any smiling pictures, but I couldn’t resist adding this little grimace. And although it is not a full smile it is a peak of one. As I was acquainted with Gio before this shoot I was very keen on how to make him laugh. He laughs at me all the time. So I had to add a tiny tribute to his great smile. What do you all think??
